The half-hour online introductory meeting will provide an explanation of how Vuvu Assignment Psychology works and what you can expect from us. This conversation will also be used to answer your questions.

Intake
Interview

The process begins with a comprehensive 120-minute intake interview conducted in person at our location. This step is crucial for us to gain a deep understanding of your unique circumstances and experiences. We prioritize face-to-face interaction as it fosters a strong foundation for a trust-based relationship.

Tailored Treatment
Plan

Together, we formulate a supervision or treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. This plan outlines the structure and approach of the forthcoming counseling and treatment sessions

Counseling and Treatment Sessions

The counseling and treatment sessions are scheduled for 90 minutes each, and you have the option to book a maximum of two sessions in a single day. These sessions are conducted in person at our location, ensuring a supportive and conducive environment for your personal growth and well-being.

Evaluation of the Session Effectiveness

In this phase, we assess your progress and session effectiveness, making adjustments as needed to support your continued well-being. Your feedback is crucial in guiding your path to emotional and mental health.

  • Who is Vuvu Assignment Psychology for?
    Vuvu Assignment Psychology is for everyone, irrespective of age, gender, religion, or cultural background. While our expertise primarily focuses on individuals aged 16-50, we welcome inquiries from anyone outside this age group. We are here to help, and your unique circumstances are always valued, regardless of your beliefs or background.
  • Is Vuvu Assignment Psychology exclusively for Christians?
    Although we work from a Christian perspective, you can also contact us if you are not religious. The love and appreciation for fellow human beings, including you, is paramount within Vuvu Assignment Psychology! Which religion you have or don't have is therefore not a requirement for being helped. We believe that everyone deserves help!
  • What types of counseling and treatment does Vuvu Assignment Psychology offer?
    Vuvu Assignment Psychology offers both physical and online ambulatory counseling and treatment. These sessions can be individual, with your partner, or with your family, depending on the specific needs.
  • Where are the physical counseling and treatment locations offered, and in which languages is counseling available?
    Physical counseling is available throughout the Netherlands, with Eindhoven as the main location, and also in various regions of Belgium. Counseling is offered in Dutch, French, and English.
  • How are the prices structured at Vuvu Assignment Psychology?
    Vuvu Assignment Psychology operates independently, without affiliation to health insurance companies or similar entities. This approach allows you to have full control over your trajectory, tailored to your specific needs. We prioritize keeping the counseling and treatment process free from commercial interests and external influences that may compromise your care.   • Are therapeutic sessions at Vuvu Assignment Psychology covered by health insurance?
    Since Vuvu Assignment Psychology is not affiliated with health insurance companies or other government agencies, therefore no sessions can be claimed from the health insurance company. The cost of therapeutic sessions is entirely the responsibility of the client.
  • What are the current waiting times at Vuvu Assignment Psychology?
    There are currently no wait times at Vuvu Assignment Psychology. Once you schedule an intake interview on the website you will be invited to intake within a week. Counseling/treatment can already be started a week after the intake.
  • For which problems can I contact Vuvu Assignment Psychology?
    You can come to Vuvu Assignment Psychology for a variety of complaints, ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction. If you have complaints that you do not know whether there is a treatment for, please feel free to contact us.
  • What does the intake include?
    During the intake session, during two hours, as many difficulties as possible are identified. In cooperation with the client, one or more concrete questions will be formulated, after which we will look at which counseling and/or treatment best suits this question(s). The intake takes place on location.
  • What does the treatment plan entail?
    The treatment plan describes the conditions of Vuvu Assignment Psychology as well as the treatment goals. These are signed by both the therapist and the client prior to the first counseling/treatment session. Depending on how the counseling/treatment goes, the treatment plan may be updated in the interim.
  • What happens if I cannot come to an appointment?
    If you wish to cancel an appointment, you must do so at least 48 hours in advance. This prevents you from being charged a cancellation fee. Late cancellations will incur a cancellation fee. For a no-show, failure to show up, the full cost of the therapy session(s) will be charged.
  • Where can I file a complaint about care?
    Vuvu Assignment Psychology is doing its utmost to provide the best possible care. However, it may happen that the client is not satisfied with certain matters. Initially, Vuvu Assignment Psychology will try to work it out with the client. If this is not successful, the client can fill out the contact form of the National Healthcare and Youth Inspection.
